The Miami International Piano Festival Academy is a school without a fixed address. Twice a year it gathers a faculty of concert pianists and a small group of musicians preparing for that same career, in the two places that give each encounter its character: Miami Beach in winter and the Italian Dolomites in summer.

Most institutions divide students among teachers and let them compete. The MIPFA does the opposite: it puts every participant in front of every artist so they can hear the differences and choose for themselves. That is what our alumni remember years later.
“I have to say again how grateful I am to have attended the Winter Academy. It was a special way to start 2023 and I’m feeling renewed for what’s to come!”
Matthew Krell. Canada
This festival changed my life. I am so overjoyed to have found the MIPFA and I can’t wait to come back!

The Miami Piano Festival created by Giselle has gifted this world countless wonders, moments of inspiration, hope and sincere love of music.”

Every musician that participated in previous MIPFA encounters states that the experience was transformative in their careers. Find out why in these two documentaries.
The MIPFA is an intense program for pianists in search of a concert career — and, in the summer encounter, for string players joining the orchestral experience. Participants would personally engage with an exceptional international lineup of performing artists, gaining inspiration and exposure from diverse sources to achieve artistic freedom and find their own voice. The unique camaraderie among professors and participants extends beyond lessons and masterclasses, fostering unforgettable life experiences.
